Make an extraordinary impact.

Click here to download our PACE Legacy Giving Trifold Brochure.

Leave a legacy that will sustain us long into the future by including PACE in your estate plan. Your donation will help PACE connect, support, and educate by ensuring high-quality programs for children and adults with autism, now and into the future. Many supporters choose to leave a gift as a way to honor a friend or family member, and others because they want to care for those with autism. No matter the amount, you will make an extraordinary impact on our community and ensure that PACE’s high-quality programs are sustainable for future generations.

If you have any questions at any stage of the process or about any of the information on this page, please contact us at email hidden; JavaScript is required, and someone from our team will quickly get in touch.

Join the PACE Legacy Society

A gift of any amount qualifies you to join the PACE Legacy Society, a special group of visionary philanthropists dedicated to making a lasting commitment to the future of PACE. If you have made a gift to PACE in your will or trust, please let us know so we can thank you and recognize your generosity.

How to get started:

  • Contact your financial advisor to discuss your options and begin the process of establishing a charitable bequest.
  • Download our PACE Charitable Bequest information
  • Review the information below for FreeWill, a free online tool you can use to create a fully customized will.

Your Charitable Bequest

One of the simplest ways to leave a lasting legacy benefiting PACE is to include specific language in your will or living trust naming the Pacific Autism Center for Education (aka PACE) as a beneficiary of your estate. Your estate will receive a charitable deduction for the full donation, so your heirs will not pay estate taxes on these assets. A charitable bequest may be in the form of cash, securities, or personal property. Should you choose to leave a legacy benefiting PACE we request that you notify us in writing of your intent.

The following four types of bequests direct your gift to PACE:

Percentage

“I give, devise and bequest to the Pacific Autism Center for Education, a California nonprofit, public benefit corporation (federal tax ID number 77-0259858), located at 1880 Pruneridge Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95050, and its successors and assignees,  ______ percentage of my estate.”

Specific

“I give, devise and bequest to the Pacific Autism Center for Education, a California nonprofit, public benefit corporation (federal tax ID number 77-0259858), located at 1880 Pruneridge Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95050, and its successors and assignees,   (the sum of $_________________) OR (_____________ shares of stock in _______________company) OR (all of my right, title and interest in the following described personal property___________________________).

Residual

“I give, devise and bequest to the Pacific Autism Center for Education, a California nonprofit,  public benefit corporation (federal tax ID number 77-0259858), located at 1880 Pruneridge Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95050, and its successors and assignees,  all the rest and residue of my estate, including real and personal property.

Contingent

“In the event all of my beneficiaries named herein predecease me or are otherwise ineligible to receive a distribution from my estate, I give, devise and bequest the Pacific Autism Center for Education, California nonprofit, public benefit corporation (federal tax ID number 77-0259858), located at 1880 Pruneridge Avenue, Santa Clara, CA 95050, and its successors and assignees, (percentage, specific, or residual language as above.)”

PACE is not engaged in legal or tax advice. Further, we understand that each person’s philanthropic expression is unique.  This document is a service to provide general information about charitable gift planning. Potential donors should rely on their own tax and legal advisors.
