Executive Director: Kurt Ohlfs

Kurt OhlfsKurt has served as the PACE Executive Director since June 2005. With his strengths in technology operations and business management, Kurt has been instrumental in implementing improvements at PACE in organizational management and technology innovation. He is a frequently requested presenter on Autism statistics and trends and has been interviewed for local radio, television and print media. Prior to joining PACE, Kurt enjoyed a successful 16-year career in technology development and also served on the PACE Board of Directors. He has a BSEE from Santa Clara University and an MBA in Technology Management. He has been awarded scholarships with the HP Nonprofit Leadership Initiative (2006), the Harvard Business School Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management (2007) and the CEN Leaders Institute (2007-08). He serves on the Board of CAP-SIG and as a Commissioner for the Santa Clara County Equal Opportunity Commission.

Assistant Executive Director/Director of Children's Services: Karen Kennan

Karen KennanHaving spent more than twenty years working in the non-profit sector, Karen is experienced in fund-raising, program development, strategic planning and community outreach. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University and a MBA from the University of California, Haas School of Business. Her professional experience with fundraising and community development includes Program Director for the Stanford Hillel Foundation; Senior Campaign Associate for the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties; and the Assistant Executive Director for the Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center. Karen came to PACE in 2005 as the Director of Development. She is currently the Assistant Executive Director.

Human Resources Director: Veronica Rodriguez

VeronicaVeronica has over ten years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong background in organizational development, employee relations and compliance. Veronica received her B.A. from San Jose State University with a double major in Cultural Anthropology and Behavioral Science with grad studies in applied Anthropology. She then earned her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certificate in 2011and further certifications from the San Jose State University professional development program in HR management. She is an active board member of the Santa Clara Chapter of NCHRA. In addition, she holds memberships with SHRM and AAA (American Anthropological Association) and is bilingual in Spanish and English. Veronica came to PACE in 2006 where she currently serves as the Human Resources Director.

School Program Director: Breenu Sra

BreenuBreenu has over 10 years of experience working in the Special Education domain for schools across California, and is experienced in IEP development and coordination, school system and special education laws, administration, strategic direction, and staff leadership support. She received her BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Michigan, and later earned her MA in Clinical Psychology from the Center for Humanistic Studies and a Specialist in Education credential in School Psychology from La Sierra University. She also expects to receive her clear administrative services credential in 2012 and is currently working towards being fully licensed as an MFT. Breenu sits as a commissioner on the Santa Clara County Child Abuse Council and received commendation from the Santa Clara Mayor in 2006. She has been a School Psychologist with the Santa Clara County Office of Education as well as the Franklin McKinley School District, and most recently worked as a Vice Principal with Pine Hill NPS until transitioning to PACE in 2012. She currently serves as the School Program Director.

Matt TrittoBehavior & Clinical Services Director: Matt Tritto

Matt has ten years of experience in direct intervention services for individuals with Autism. His background includes behavior and clinical intervention, parent training, school consultation, and Discrete Trial Training as well as Naturalistic Incidental Teaching. He came to FACES after receiving his BA from Loyola Marymount University. While working for FACES he earned his MA in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from St. Cloud State University. When FACES merged with PACE in 2011, he became the FACES Clinical Director. Matt is currently Behavior & Clinical Services Director for the overall PACE/FACES program.

Director of Finance & Administration: Nancy Brown

NancyNancy Brown has worked for over 30 years in the administration sector, with 19 of those years spent at PACE. Her professional experience includes working billings at Westinghouse, financials at Williams Cutlery, and at the Cupertino School District before coming to PACE in 1993. She is experienced in payroll, accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliation, and contracts, as well as knowing the name of every PACE staff member. She is currently the Director of Finance and Administration.
